You can use something like an SOS pad or steel wool on the temp probe but I wouldn''t use it on anything else inside. I use an SOS pad. Awesome thanks for the tip! Use an old toothbrush. Before I use them for every cook, I clean them with an alcohol pad/wipe. After the cook, I clean them with soap and water.
